About
An open archive of how the world really works.
Global Data Insights brings together statistics, research and surveys from the world's most trusted institutions, in one fast, searchable, citable site.
The internet is full of numbers. Most of them have no source. Global Data Insights exists to fix that — to give journalists, students, researchers, founders and curious readers a single place to find statistics they can actually cite, from organisations like the World Bank, United Nations, World Health Organization, OECD, IMF, Eurostat and the US Census Bureau.
What we publish
- Topic pages — every important indicator, with live data, charts, country comparisons and FAQs.
- The Research Library — a searchable archive of reports, surveys, studies and datasets from trusted institutions.
- Trend pages — long-run, evidence-based context for the questions the news cycle keeps asking.
How we work
Every page on the site is built from primary sources only. Live indicators pull directly from official APIs (the World Bank Open Data API is our backbone). Curated figures are cross-checked against the original PDF or dataset and the source is named in plain English on the page.
What we never do
We don't publish unsourced claims, AI-fabricated numbers, or recycled tweets. If we can't link a figure to a credible institution, it doesn't go on the site.
